President Ronald Reagan was a great man and his words continue to mean a great deal to me.
“There are a host of heroes to whom this country owes a debt it can never repay. Allen Clark lost both his legs while serving his country in Vietnam. When he came home, his body was broken, but his spirit never faltered. He went back to school. He earned his masters degree in business administration. He served his state in a high government post and is now a successful businessman. He’s an inspiration to all who know him.”
- President Ronald Reagan, The White House, September 10, 1984

Welcome to the Combat Faith Blog
The Combat Faith web site and blog are dedicated as Christian encouragement and education sites for individuals who wish to strengthen their faith in God, for those with challenging and serious issues related to relationship struggles, substance abuse, and alcoholism, and also for veterans with Post Traumatic Stress Disorders (PTSD) from combat experiences.
I am a combat vet who would like to share my experiences, learnings and faith with others to help them overcome their own life challenges - ones related to war-time experiences or any other struggles they face in life. Please visit my blog for advice, updates and success stories that followers share through the Combat Faith website, the website for my book Wounded Soldier, Healing Warrior, or on book reviews they post. My wish for this blog is that we'll have enlightening discussions with each other here about topics like our faith, healing, and overcoming PTSD.
Thank you for visiting my blog. I look forward to hearing back from you with your insights and your own experiences grappling with, and overcoming, your own set of challenges. I also hope my trust in God and reliance on my faith in overcoming the amputation of both my legs and getting through various other challenges in politics and business will help give you the strength and courage you need to overcome your own adversities.
